Atelier Limo

Native to France now living in Berlin, Germany, we created the “Atelier Limo” office in 2006. Our workshop takes an interest in interaction between space and memory. From 2006 to 2009, we carried out various projects along the former Schengen frontier that separated - until 2007 - the old from the new European Union countries: a database, exhibitions, a documentary film and a touring event called “Border speaking” with the screening of our film in 40 places which was organized along the frontier in eight different countries. Since 2010, we have been working on the “Detour” project in partnership with Turku and Tallinn 2011; European Capitals of Culture.
